Our Story

Since 1991, CTi has made it possible for people like you to own a business and achieve financial freedom. With CTi, you don’t have to face the burden of franchise and royalty fees when starting out. The Beginning

Concrete Technology, Inc. (“CTi”) began operations in Largo, Florida in December of 1991, founded by Kevin Rosenberger, a craftsman in the coatings industry. After years of working with river rock coatings in the Tampa Bay area and experiencing their limitations, Kevin set out to develop something better. By experimenting with acrylic cement coatings through the mid-1980s, he discovered a superior solution that combined acrylics and resins for unmatched durability and beauty.

Growth and Recognition

From the start, CTi’s philosophy has been clear: deliver the highest quality products, provide in-depth training, and back it with ongoing support. This approach fueled explosive growth:

  • By 1996, CTi had over 200 Dealers nationwide with representation in 10 countries.

  • By 1997, that number doubled to more than 400 Dealers across the U.S. and abroad, earning CTi recognition on the INC 500 list as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

  • Over the years, CTi has also been featured in the Maddux Report’s Fast 50 and Deloitte & Touche’s Technology 500.

Today

Now headquartered in Denham Springs, Louisiana, CTi has expanded into a worldwide network of Dealers operating in the U.S. and 23 foreign countries. Together, they’ve installed more than 130 million square feet of CTi coatings worldwide.

A Lifetime with CTi

In 1998, I purchased a CTi Dealership, launching the business alongside my dad and brother-in-law. It all started with a simple postcard—CTi’s marketing caught our attention and sparked our curiosity. Determined to learn more, we flew to Largo, Florida, where just a few minutes of conversation with Kevin, Chuck, and Brad at the home office convinced us we had found something special. After the very first day of hands-on training, we were completely sold.

Our first year as CTi Dealers was humble—we worked out of a small Isuzu pickup truck. But dedication and persistence paid off. Sales doubled year after year, and by 2002, we had grown into the largest-volume dealer in our area. In 2003, I took the next big step, purchasing the CTi distributorship for Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. For the past 27 years, I’ve had the privilege of training and mentoring others, helping them build their own success in the decorative concrete industry.

In August 2025, I came full circle—purchasing CTi itself, the company I have dedicated my professional career to for nearly three decades. My commitment remains the same as it was on day one: to offer unmatched excellence in product quality, training, and support.
